Mindful Horsemanship for horse owners

  • You want to learn how to become an authority for your horse.

  • You have a "difficult"; young horse or a "burned out" horse.

  • You see that your horse is distracted, restless, insecure during trainings, refuses to cooperate, does not respect you and what you do together, and you do not know how to change it.

  • You have emotional blocks (fear, anxiety, uncertainty) in working with your horse.

  • You don't know what new things to bring to your relationship and everyday life, but you feel that it's time.

  • You feel that it's time to change yourself and understand what is between you and your horse.

  • You want to deepen your existing relationship and bring it to the "next level".

  • You want to learn how to create an emotionally safe space in which you and your horse will feel good.

  • You are curious, open to development and learning.

Working from the ground horse owners developed:

  • Self-awareness – ability to recognize their influence on the horse’s behaviour.

  • Empathy – encouraging them to understand and respect their horse’s needs.

  • Communication skills – teaching owners to create clear, assertive, and respectful leadership.

"I do not "train" horses... but I create a space in which time, attention, respect, trust, community, peace, openness to others is necessary and mandatory. Everything that happens is a result of interactions and relationships.

I do not train horses, but I am with them.

I don't train horses. I let them be themselves with me.

Horses are individuals. Intelligent, good, but very often in the human world... silent and emotionally devastated.

I went through and used the Natural Horsemanship methods of working with horses. And yes, it works. And yes, it helps. However, something was missing. It was somehow schematic and automatic. And then I understood. I missed the HORSE, as an equal personality that takes part in the process. With the right to say "NO", with the right to the time needed to accept, understand and see the meaning in everything that the human asks of him.

I also missed the Human - conscious and responsible for what he brings to this process. Because the essence does not lie in the technique, but in the WAY we use it. The essence lies in US - The people.

  • Now, I know how to help horses to have better owners.

  • Now, I know how to give a chance to horses to be heard, understood and seen by humans.

  • Now, I know how to give the knowledge to humans how to build and achieve relationship with horses based on acceptance, trust and respect.

My Philosophy about working with horses

The KNOW-HOW behind

By integrating psychology into horse training and owner coaching, I create a holistic approach that goes beyond technical skills. My work helps owners not only train their horses effectively but also improve themselves as personalities.  Instead of focusing only on technical training, for me is very important the psychological connection between horse and owner.

Many issues stem from miscommunication, fear, or emotional imbalances on either side. I help owners understand their own emotions and how they influence their horse’s behaviour. I help them to understand how to read subtle equine body language, improving mutual trust and cooperation. I address anxieties or confidence issues that affect the owner’s ability to communicate effectively with his horse.

Many owners struggle with frustration, impatience, or self-doubt when training their horses. I help them by teaching mindfulness techniques to allow them to stay calm and present while working with their horse. Helping them identify emotional triggers that impact their training approach they can set realistic expectations and maintaining a positive training mindset.

4- hours Groundwork session with you &
your horse at your stable.

We work on building, deepening the relationship and partnership with your horse. Together we also look for a solution to current problems, if any.

During the session:

  • I familiarize myself with the situation - I observe the pair of you during routine activities, brushing, bringing them from the paddock, stable, leading, groundwork, lounging.

  • We discuss the situation - what I see in you, your horse, your relationship. We focus on what is already there and what is missing.

  • I work with your horse – I teach him new things, those that are needed in a specific situation

  • Working together – you and your horse train and practice under my watchful eye and support of the process.

During the session we have a break for “processing” and 30 minutes of session summary + action plan

What do I bring to our work?

  • Sensitivity to you and your horse

  • Respect for and openness to the diversity of your experiences in the context of working with horses, or their lack

  • Calmness and balance in working with you and the horse

  • Responsibility for the process and the maximum effect of the joint session

  • Open communication, understanding and a supportive atmosphere

  • Experience/knowledge as a horse trainer

  • Experience/knowledge as a mentor/ psychologist
